Factory Recommended Service for your Maserati | Indianapolis, IN
If you recently purchased your first Maserati from Coast to Coast Imports, you will need to become accustomed to the regular maintenance needs of your luxury car. Staying on top of routine maintenance will keep your Maserati running smoothly and safely for years to come.
Each year, you will need to take your Maserati to a trusted mechanic for routine maintenance. Not every bit of routine maintenance needs to happen each year, however. Here is what your mechanic should prioritize at each yearly visit:
Oil change: Your Maserati needs an oil change every year. Your mechanic should also replace the pollen filter at this time. (Note: If you drive more than 15,000 miles, you should take your Maserati in for an oil change, even if it has not been a year.)
Tire rotation: Hand-in-hand with the typical oil change is the tire rotation.
General inspection: No other maintenance is needed each year, but this is a good opportunity for your mechanic to check crucial components like the engine, brakes, tires, battery, and fluids to make sure everything is running properly.
While oil changes, tire rotations, and a general inspection should happen every year, make sure your mechanic does a thorough inspection of your Maserati every other year for the following components: alternator belt, braking system, cooling system, and hydraulic steering control fuel injection. Your mechanic will also need to replace your air filter every other year.
If your used Maserati from Coast to Coast Imports is nearing its sixth year, you will need to pay attention to another crucial bit of Maserati maintenance: The OBD-II system filter must be replaced after six years. Once this filter has been replaced, your mechanic will need to keep replacing it every four years.
